By participating in Security Hawk’s Referral Program, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Security Hawk reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the program at any time without notice.
1. Eligibility
1.1 Who Can Be a Referrer:
The referral program is open to individuals and businesses.
Examples include past clients, real estate agents, project managers, Verizon reps, or anyone with connections who might need Security Hawk’s services.
Self-referrals, where the referrer is also the referred client, are not eligible for rewards.
1.2 Qualified Referrals:
A referral qualifies if it is a new client who has never worked with Security Hawk and has no previous connection to our services.
Referrals must be for new installations only. Service calls, maintenance work, or upgrades to existing systems do not qualify.
Referrers must provide the referred client’s name, valid contact information (phone number and address), and a brief description of their needs.
1.3 Multiple Locations or Projects:
If a referral involves multiple locations, this must be clearly specified at the time of submission.
Rewards are tied only to the locations or projects initially submitted as part of the referral.
If the referred client becomes a customer and later initiates additional projects or adds locations under their own account, those projects will not qualify for additional referral bonuses unless explicitly submitted as new referrals.
2. Referral Rewards
2.1 Standard Reward:
Referrers will receive $100 for most new installation jobs, paid after the referred project is completed and the client has made full payment.
2.2 Larger-Scale Projects:
Larger-scale projects include:
Multi-unit residential or commercial buildings (e.g., apartment complexes, office towers).
Warehouses or industrial facilities.
Restaurant chains or referrals involving multiple restaurants or locations under the same ownership.
Single-location restaurants or small businesses are not considered larger-scale projects unless part of a chain or multi-location referral.
Rewards for these projects will be negotiated and disclosed to the referrer in advance.
2.3 Unlimited Referrals:
There is no limit to how many referrals a person can submit.
2.4 Reward Payment Timing:
Rewards will only be paid after the referred client has fully paid for the completed project.
2.5 Reward Exclusions:
Rewards apply only to the initial scope of work submitted with the referral.
Service calls, maintenance work, or upgrades to existing systems are excluded from the referral program and do not qualify for rewards.
Projects or locations added by the referred client after becoming a customer, which were not specified as part of the original referral, do not qualify for additional referral bonuses.
3. Referral Process
3.1 How to Submit Referrals:
Referrers must submit the referred client’s name, address, and phone number using Security Hawk’s online form or via email.
Referrers must specify any additional locations or projects for the same client at the time of submission to qualify for referral rewards.
3.2 Client Privacy:
To protect referred clients’ privacy, Security Hawk will not share project details, pricing, or specifications with the referrer.
4. Disqualifications and Prohibited Actions
4.1 Disqualification of Rewards:
Referrals will not qualify for rewards if they:
Do not result in a successfully completed and paid project.
Violate these terms (e.g., self-referrals, false information).
4.2 Prohibited Activities:
Attempts to manipulate the referral program, including but not limited to:
Submitting false referrals.
Inflating project scope for a higher reward.
Referring yourself or your own business without prior approval.
Such activities will result in immediate disqualification from the program and forfeiture of any pending rewards.
5. Security Hawk’s Rights
5.1 Final Decision:
Security Hawk reserves the right to determine the eligibility of referrals and the amount of any reward.
5.2 Program Changes:
Security Hawk may modify, suspend, or terminate the referral program at its discretion.
6. General Terms
6.1 Limitation of Liability:
Security Hawk is not responsible for any disputes between the referrer and the referred client.
6.2 Agreement to Terms:
By submitting a referral, you agree to these terms and conditions in full.
6.3 Dispute Resolution:
Any disputes arising from the referral program will be governed by the laws of the State of New York.
